My Saint Louis Driving experience

Greetings I’m KG the Techie I like to share my thoughts and opinions on driving in the Saint Louis community. It’s been a surreal type of atmosphere when you drive around in the Saint Louis area community. So many not so nice drivers are about. So I was glad to see that the Missouri Department of Transportation - #MODOT got a law that pass called “Move over law”, especially when you see #MODOT workers on the roadways working. Many of Saint Louis area drivers don’t care about safety at all. As I see it, all they care about is going somewhere fast. Let me explain, as you can see the high price of gas, so wouldn’t we want to at least conserve on gas by driving the speed limit? Saint Louis area drivers also need to just learn to share the road. Many cases the start of a Traffic Jam happens when someone is being very selfish, the idea of letting someone in front of you seem to be painful idea to selfish drivers. We all are going somewhere when we driving, we may not be going your way. So what is this being selfish on the roadways is going to accomplish. Sharing the road is one sure way to keep us free from Traffic jams. So as driving, let us all start thinking about safety and stop being a selfish driver. These are my thoughts and opinions -

: My Smart Phone Experience

Hi I’m KG the Techie, Howdy folks, here I am again, trying to do some research on my upgrading my smart phone. I believe it can be a daunting task, because of the idea of so many different styles of smart phones out there. I have a smart phone already, but with the times, the technology it is getting old outdated. My very first smart phone I used was a Black Curve 8230. It was a terrible experience. Later I got the Droid, and I had a much better experience with that phone. This would be my third new smart phone, hoping the experience level go up even higher (he,he,he). I notice a couple of things in doing my research so far, that people get kind of fixed on battery life. I mean face it, we all would like a phone, with a super long battery life, and we had that. The smart phone is not it. Before I used a smart phone, my regular flip phone battery life would last a week before recharging the battery again. Times have change, smart phone are call smart phones for a reason. Smart phones has to use some source of energy to give you that smart phone experience. It’s all about the applications, yes indeed the apps on your smart phone drives the battery life on your smart phone. The moral to the story, I would be very careful in solely doing your research based on battery life alone when researching smart phones. This is my 2 cents -

Social Media Experience -

Hi I’m KG the Techie, Hey folks it’s has been a few months since my last blogging post. Well I guess writing is tougher then I thought it would be. Let’s chat about Social Media and its’ exciting adventures. I was reading a few tweeter feeds the other day, and a thought can to mind: should we be ranting on Twitter? I believe it to be better if we share our compliments than go out on a rant rolls and complain about things. I mean face it, the complainers (Haters) won’t change anything, so why the ranting on Twitter about it. The other day I discuss the number one rule of social media, with a co-worker of mine. I told her the number rule in social media is “be careful what you post or tweet”. She gave the common sense answer, saying that’s always been the rule on the Internet. I said if that’s the case, why do some people post anything, did they forget the rule? I like social media, my favorite is Twitter. In the grand scheme of things, we should be watchful of what we post. Post or tweet compliments, or how you like something. You would see better results from your social media experience. “That’s my 2 cents”

Thoughts and views on Social Media -

Hi I’m KG the techie,

Social Media is great, finally a place where even the unknown writer or blogger can speak their expressions and share their experience also share some knowledge. I like Social Media better than TV Media, simple because it’s reaches to the core of freedom of speech. There are rules, like anything you do, rules always plays a-part of the whole process. But sometimes rules are challenged. Let’s remember the lessons learn from “@Rolandsmartin” comments about a commercial he saw on this pass Super-Bowl Sunday.

Although Social Media responded first, and it should since he posted a “tweet on @Twitter. I still felt, TV Media, shouldn’t have penalized him for tweeting it. How is Mainstream Media penalizing someone for a tweet, and not penalizing someone like “Rush Limbaugh”, and he called a woman a bad name on Radio. People say Life is not fair, actually I think giving life a chance, it’s not life that’s the problem of fairness, its people that makes Life not fair. Seems like Mainstream Media is sharing their thoughts on the name calling “Rush Limbaugh” said, but as usual, nothing else will be done.

“Yeah, yeah ,yeah”, he lost some endorsements and some advertisements, he’ll get them back, and in Mainstream Media, life as we know it, will continue on with “Rush Limbaugh” still on Radio . There is my 2 cents on it. It’s been a blog moment -

The Destiny of the Desktop PC -

Hi I’m KG the Techie,

Well Hello Precious People, I tell ya, when it comes to tablet PCs, I’m still not quite there on the band wagon to getting one yet. Even though, the tablet PCs have evolved, and it just might be the future of where your personal computer experience is going. The way of the typewriter, is the Desktop PC, so sad. I was reading about the Android 4.0 ICS OS, it’s looking really good for band wagon excitement, I mean think about It, I already got a Motorola Droid Smartphone so I’m already aware of how tablet PCs can fit in with my computer life. However, I still think the Desktop PC should stay around. Although the bigness and stationary front that the Desktop PC gives, brings some sort of stability to your computer life. We don’t always have to be mobile right? People are liking the mobility of the tablet PCs and the tablet is getting more powerful in it’s performance. Desktop PCs better watch out. So what do you think - Just like to share my 2 cents.

Innovation comes from ideas of Inspiration -

Hi I’m KG the Techie –

I was reading an article about American Airlines going into Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
It’s just amazing to me why this is happening to so many big businesses. However, as we all know business have to re-organize to stay competitive. What ever happen to innovation, I mean “where are the creative people at”, to advance the ideas and dreams to boost the company to be competitive in a creative way, with new styles in innovation. When you think about it, aviation in technology was build on the idea that man can fly, in the interim, it made travel time faster. I think it’s time to think more ways to make travel time faster, and safer.

How can we as human beings do that? I say, let’s think space and time. We can come up with a way to transport by trans-beaming. Hmmm Trans-beaming, yeah I said it. Actually it’s like getting on an elevator to space, sort of a tube capsule to a docking station in space, and then from there transport you by an elevator to other locations around the world. You think any of that can be done? It’s just a thought. Hey remember this is just my 2 cents.
